Welcome to The Fit Pepper! I am Nicole Pepper – a wife, mother, and fitness & nutrition professional. I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics from Arizona State University, am a Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Fitness Specialist through NASM, and am currently studying Holistic Nutrition at Bauman College.
I have always been an active person, playing sports in my younger days, becoming a runner in my 20’s, and learning to love a heavy set of weights in my 30’s. Our bodies and minds are constantly evolving. My passion is nutrition – seeing how food fuels the body fascinates me, and seeing a good nutrition program change the way a person feels and acts makes me incredibly happy. I truly love helping people.
Whether you have questions regarding your current diet and exercise plan, are in need of a motivating coach, or want to learn how food can heal, I am here to help. I will hold you accountable to your goals, teach you the “why” in everything we do, and most importantly, help you have fun and feel great.
What I will not do…
I will not write a diet plan or give you a generic work out plan. I have seen too many people fail this way. I want to learn who you are, what you like (and don’t like), and help you take control.
I will not tell you that “one size fits all”. We are all unique individuals and what works for one may be detrimental to the other. I’ll help guide you towards what will work for YOU.
I will not set unrealistic expectations for you. If this is your first attempt at creating a healthier you, I want you to succeed and will help you start as slowly as you need to. It’s not a race!
What I WILL do…
I will eliminate the fear of “health foods”
I will help you learn to love the body you have
I will show you that exercise can be fun
I will teach you to exercise efficiently for your body
I will show you how to deal with cravings in a positive way
